Pay TV booming in Central America

Pay-TV is booming in the Central America region, with Honduras registering the strongest growth int he first half of the year, according to Dataxis.

From January to June, Honduras registered 640,000 pay TV subscribers, 23.2 percent more than the same period last year.

Other markets in the region with considerable growth in the same period were Costa Rica with 17.3 percent and Nicaragua with 14.3 percent.
