Peel Ports eyes Colombia expansion

UK-based Peel Ports, the operator of the Port of Liverpool, will open an office in Colombia if bilateral trade between both countries grows, said Patrick Walters, commercial director of the company.

Peel Ports manages seven terminals that handle some 70 million tons of cargo each year.

The firm's Latin American headquarters are currently in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
