Perks of public-sector workers under threat in Costa Rica

Public servants in Costa Rica have many privileges, including a month of holidays and an economic bonus on marriage, having a child or losing a close relative.

These are some of the several benefits that the perks currently enjoyed by people who work in the state sector but are now under threat by legal actions being studied now by the nation's constitutional court, La Republica reports in Spanish.
