Peru's Oben to build plant in El Salvador

Peru's Oben Holding Group will invest some $54 million in a new plant in El Salvador.

Oben Holding Group specializes in developing and producing polypropylene films for consumer goos packaging.

The Salvadoran plant is expected to begin operations in the first quarter next year and create some 200 direct jobs and 500 indirect jobs.
