Peruvian plastics company sets base in El Salvador

San Miguel Industrias, a Peruvian company, has installed a $13 million PET plant in El Salvador to meet the needs of its Central American and Caribbean customers.

 

Already San Miguel has 30 percent of El Salvador’s market in PET, the plastic used for disposable bottles.

 

Now the Peruvian company will be using El Salvador as a base for regional development.
