Pfizer unit Hospira beefs up in Costa Rica

Hospira Costa Rica a subsidiary of Pfizer, announced it is shifting production in the Dominican Republic to Costa Rica this year.

The multinational, which manufactures medical infusion and transfusion equipment, said it will gradually close its manufacturing plant in the Dominican Republic over the course of this year, and transfer most of those operations to its Barreal de Heredia plant in Global Park.
