Phoenix Packaging opens plant in Colombia

Colombian-Venezuelan firm Phoenix Packaging Caribe has completed its new processing plant in Colombia's Cartagena free trade zone La Candelaria.

The company now has a capacity for producing 1,500 tons of plastic packaging products per month.

"The construction of the plan has been an important step in our business strategy, with food and cosmetics firms operating in Cartagena who export their products to the U.S., Brazil and Mexico, among others," the company said.
