Phone companies in El Salvador accuse legislators of steam-rollering portability
Thursday, July 1, 2010

Phone companies in El Salvador are concerned about the speed with which plans are going ahead for portability of numbers.
They claim that not a single country in the world has been able to achieve portability within only 18 months.
The representatives of Claro, Telefónica, Tigo and Digicel claim that a recent reform of the Telecommunications Law was passed by legislators without consultation.
