Polish Airlines cancels plans for flights to Mexico
Friday, September 13, 2013
A surge in violence in the Mexican state of Guerrero pushed Polish Airlines to cancel its plans of starting flights to the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo tourism destination.
Two months ago, Polish travel business leaders visited the popular beach destination with aims to establish a weekly flight between both countries.
However, authorities from the Mexican airport confirmed the cancellation of those plans, which were in line with the airline's safety regulations.
