Political adviser to Chinese leaders lauds Costa Rica

Top Chinese political adviser Jia Qinglin lauded the close bilateral ties when he addressed the Costa Rican legislative assembly in San José.
Addressing a plenary session of the assembly, Jia said this year marked the fifth anniversary of the establishment of China-Costa Rica diplomatic relations.
He said they should boost economic and trade cooperation to achieve common development. China was willing to strengthen cooperation with Costa Rica in areas such as energy, infrastructure, investment and finance.
