Political divisions become ever wider in Nicaragua
The division between Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega's supporters and opposition is constantly growing, according to a study by Professor John Booth, of North Texas University.
The study shows that the opposition believes the voting system in the country is fraudulent, while supporters have better voting access.
Furthermore, about 30 percent of the population has no voting cards.
The study, called “Political Culture and Democracy in Nicaragua 2012", will be published next month.
