Port Everglades wants to boost Guatemala fruit trade

South Florida’s Port Everglades is looking to expand trade with Guatemala.
The Fort Lauderdale, based port co-sponsored the Agritrade Expo & Conference, which was in mid-March in La Antigua, Guatemala.
At the conference, port officials stated that Guatemala is a key target market for the port and showcased Central America’s fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants, as well as supply chain products and services.
