Port of Limón set to become regional cargo hub

Costa Rica's port of Limón is set to become a regional logistics and tourism hub, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
The potential of the port is due to its 16-meter depth, a unique feature among Caribbean ports.
Once the Panama Canal expansion is completed, the bigger ships, coming from Asia, will require depths of more than 15 meters.
