Price war hits earnings of insurers in Costa Rica

A price war has hit the earnings of insurance companies over the last seven months in Costa Rica.

The drop began in September of last yearend has continued through March, when the year-on-year decline was 9.6 percent in real terms.

Vehicle policies were those most affected by the drop in revenue.
