Private equity firms eye opportunities in Colombia
Friday, April 26, 2013
Private-equity firms including Carlyle Group, Pantheon Ventures and Victoria Capital Partners are opening offices in Colombia and Peru to find deals as economic growth there outpaces Brazil’s.
Pantheon will open a Bogota office next month, said Jaime Londono, who will head the division for the London-based firm.
Advent opened its Bogota office in October 2011, and made its first investment there three months later.
