Private health is booming in Guatemala

Guatemala’s growing health insurance market and its growing importance as a location for medical tourism, is boosting construction of clinics, hospitals and specialist units all over the capital and its surroundings.
Of about half a dozen big projects, one is slated for an investment of $100 million, and floorspace is selling for $1,000 a square meter at the very least.
