Purdy Motor aims to sell one of its businesses in Mexico because of narco violence

Costa Rican company Purdy Motor has put on sale ins business of Hino trucks in the Mexican state of Chihuahua because of the wave of violence in the region.

Allan Sime, a Purdy director, said that his company and the Guatemalan company Codesa no longer aim to sell trucks there.

Purdy invested $2 million for distribution of the Hino brand  when it arrived in April, 2009.
