Quality is key to fight crisis, growers told

Today is International Coffee Day, and the 120,000 growers of Honduras are launching the 2018-19 harvest amid the lowest international prices of a decade.
Honduras is Central America's leading, and the world's fifth producer. The last harvest netted $1.13 billion, down by 15 percent from the previous one.
The nation's coffee institute urged growers to fight the crisis in prices by raising quality, not volume.
