Questions in Costa Rica over port concession for Dutch company APM Terminal

Concern is being voiced in Costa Rica by the concession to a Dutch company APM Terminal for the contruction of a dock at the port of Moín.

For Manrique Oviedo, deputy of the opposition Partido Acción Ciudadana claimed that the concession was irregular because "the deadline for receiving offers was delayed ten times and they also arranged the bid as they saw fit.” Paul Collie, director of business development for the Americas of APM Terminal, said the concession was perfectly valid.
