Quit Honduras, business leaders urge companies

Tuesday, May 15, 2012

The president of the Honduran Industrial Association, Adolfo Facussé, suggested that Honduran private companies change their headquarters to Nicaragua and other neighbouring countries, due to new tax laws.

Facussé criticized the Honduran government of affecting private companies with its increasing number of tax packages.

Since the beginning of president Porfirio Lobo's term, the Honduran government has applied seven tax packages.
