Consumers are urged to get ready for lightning speed internet service in the coming year as the Radiográfica Costarricense (Racsa) retools, investing some $360 million.

Alberto Bermúdez, Racsa's general manager, says the state company will offer connections up to 1GB and at an economical price, starting at $30 a month for the basic service.
