Recycling generates business for top firms in Costa Rica

Big companies in Costa Rica are converting recycling of waste into a new business that is boosting the creation of subsidiaries.

The country has the potential to recycle3 78,000 ton of waste a year.

Companies that are investing in recycling schemes include Coca-Cola FEMSA Centroamérica, Dos Pinos, Florida Ice & Farm and Holcim.
