Refurbished Panama Pacific airport welcomes first flight

The newly refurbished Panama Pacific airport received its first Miami Air International charter flight from the United States, carrying 170 passengers.

The airport, previously known as the US Howard military base, was refurbished with an investment of $3.7 million.

Panama Pacific is also home to ST Aerospace Panama maintenance operations, as well as being an alternative terminal for Copa Airlines.
