Region lags in human resources

Central America’s human resources are still far from achieving the level necessary to sustain competitive economies at the global level, according to the World Economic Forum's Human Capital Index.

The index analyzes the levels of investment in health, education and talent of the people in each country.

The study also analyzes the capacity to provide an enabling environment so that these investments increase economic productivity.
