Region prepares plan to boost sales to Europe

A group of Central American business leaders and governments are working on a project aimed at increasing regional exports to Europe.
The program is expected to boost regional sales to Europe by $26 million by 2017.
El Salvador will be the first country to implement the program. The country exported $243 million worth of goods to Europe last year, and imported some $600 million.
