Region's coffee exports drop to 17.8 million bags
Central America, Mexico and Colombia exported 17.8 million 60-kilo bags of coffee between October 2013 and May this year.
The figure is lower than the 19.2 million bags the region exported in the same period of the previous harvest, according to Guatemala's coffee association, Anacafé.
Only Colombia showed positive figures, with a 28.5 percent increase in its exports.
