Region's exporters federation chooses new leader

Juan Planells, president of the Panamanian exporters association, was elected the new president of Central America's federation of exporters of Central America, Fecaexca.

The new administration will focus on developing competitiveness in the region's small enterprises, as well as continuing to work on pending matters with the association agreement with Europe.

Some 5,000 of the region's exporters are part of Fecaexca.
