Region's farmers fear drought could damage crops

Agricultural producers in Central America are concerned about the effects to their harvests caused by droughts that have hit the region.

The cause is the natural phenomenon known as "El Niño", and has already caused basic food prices to go up.

The governments of the Central American countries have started taking measures in order to prevent further price increases and loss of crops.
