Region's first power plant fired by LNG to be in Panama by August

The first plant power plant in Central America to be fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG) is to be completed in August in Panama, according to US-based energy company AES.

The 381 megawatt plant represents an investment of $1.15 million.
