Region's top housing show nets $150 million

The biggest show of its type in Central America, Panama's Capac Expo Hábitat 2018 secured mortgage financing for $120 million in five days.

The sector's business leaders told President Juan Carlos Varela to cut red tape in real estate transactions.

Hector Ortega, the Capacity president, said that the takings from the show are likely to be increased later by some $30 million more later.
