Region to benefit from European cooperation

Central America will benefit from part of a $3.44 billion cooperation program for Latin America announced by the European Union.

Part of the funds will go to Central America through the Development Cooperation Instrument.

El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua were identified by the European Union as the regional countries facing most challenges.
