Regional businesses question TPP agreement

Central American business representatives have expressed their concerns over joining the Trans-Pacific Partnership, TPP.

One of the advantages would be to enter markets such as Australia and New Zealand.

"But if we open our markets to our traditional competitors such as Vietnam, we risk having our garment industry's sales to the U.S. replaced," said Mario Amador, vice president of the Nicaraguan industrial chamber.
