Regional unions join rescue of Honduras's Enee

Costa Rican, Salvadoran and Colombian electricity workers' unions announced a joint cooperation in order to boost Honduran state energy company Enee.

The three countries said they would give up to $400 million, of which approximately $300 million will be given by Colombia.

The unions will work closely with Honduran banks Fihcosa, Atlántida and Continental, which will be responsible for administering the funds over the enxt 30 years.
