Remittances resurgent throughout Central America

Remittances from Central American emigrants to their families back home are resurgent, according to figures through April.
In Nicaragua, remittances brought in $287 million, 8.2 percent more than in the same period of last year.
In Guatemala, they came to $1.76 billion, 10 percent year-on-year growth; El Salvador $1.51 billion, up 4.8 percent, and Honduras $1.16 billion, an 11.7 percent increase.
