Remittances to Guatemala grow 4.5 percent

Remittances to Guatemala reached $476 million in August, according to data from the country's central bank.

The figure shows a 4.5 percent growth compared with August 2013.

The Bank of Guatemala has forecast a growth in remittances of 6.7 percent for the whole year, compared with last year.
