Remittances to Guatemala up 5 percent

Remittances to Guatemala grew 5 percent from January to July this year, reaching $2.9 billion.
The Bank of Guatemala reported $455 million in July, a 5.6 percent growth compared to the same month last year.
The figure makes July the third month with the largest reception of remittances, behind April and May with $451 million and $476 million respectively.
