Roadworks hit trade and industry in El Salvador

Trade and industry in El Salvador are being affected by roadworks in the capital city of San Salvador.

The Public Works Ministry is carrying out simultaneous roadworks on the main access highways to the capital, one month before the Christmas shopping period starts.

The country's small enterprise council estimates some 70 percent of companies are being affected by the works.
