Roatan's solar-powered tourism heats up green shoots of Honduran economy

Honduras is headed to economic recovery and sees more international tourism as a way out of the crisis triggered by its June 2009 coup.
The country's ambitious solar-powered tourism resort on Roatan Island expects to start receiving larger numbers of tourists when completed.
Roatan is a substantial source of revenue for Honduras and was rated the world's leading destination for retirement by Islands magazine.
