Sacyr in $45 million port accord with Minera Panamá

Spain's Sacyr Villahermoso, headquartered in Madrid, was chosen by Minera Panamá to build a new port on the Caribbean coast of Panama.

The project will cost about $45 million, and will be located in Punta Rincon, in the Colón region.

One of the main advantages of the new port is its proximity to the Donoso copper mine, another Minera Panamá project, as it will help ship the copper from the mine more effectively.
