Salvadoran hardware chain opens 20 new stores

Galvanissa the El Salvador-based chain of stores specializing in hardware and construction materials, has opened 20 new stores this year throughout Central America.

The company has a factory and logistical center in El Salvador that is the largest of its type in the region.

Currently Galvanissa has 200 stores and a workforce of 2,500. Despite the severe crisis in Nicaragua, the company has opened three new stores in Estelí, Chinandega and Masaya,
