Walmart's new store in Mejicanos, El Salvador, will significantly boost the firm's purchases of goods to local producers.
In some cases, producers have forecast an increase of between 8 and 12 precent in their production volume to meet the new store's demand.
The new Mejicanos Walmart is scheduled to open next week.
