Salvadoran services need more bilinguals

El Salvador's outsourcing companies have seen their growth limited by the lack of bilingual staff.

The country must improve the quality and quantity of human resources for the outsourcing services sector in order to maintain its growth, according to experts gathered at the forum organized by the country's investment promotion agency, Proesa.

"English-speaking staff is crucial for this sector. There is strong talent, but there needs to be more workers with enough English skills to successfully carry out their jobs," said Deloitte analyst Luis Fuente.
