Satellite TV market in Costa Rica grows

The satellite television sector in Costa Rica is growing rapidly, and creating new business opportunities, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Among the advantages of satellite services are its resistance to bad weather and its high-definition sound and picture.

In Costa Rica, almost a quarter of the country's 641,000 families pay for that kind of service, a figure that shows a 12 percent growth
compared with two years ago, according to government statistics.
