Severe drought spells losses for El Salvador farms

Farming organizations in El Salvador complain that crops are being severely damaged by drought.

Last week, 5 percent of the corn crop in southern El Salvador was lost.

However, the Ministry of Agriculture says that prospects are encouraging for western El Salvador.
