Shell Costa Rica is negotiating the sale of its operations in the country to Petróleos Delta, a Panamanian company.
The planned sale forms part of Shell’s global strategy to concentrate on its distribution and marketing businesses in fewer countries.
The Anlgo-Dutch company launched operations in 1990 and currently has 32 service stations. Petróleos Delta has 115 service stations in Panama.
