Ever since the Honduran central bank made the exchange rate more flexible , commercial banks have faced problems in meeting demand for dollars by their clients.\

Owners of small businesses complain that banks are unable to provide the dollars that they need to pay for imports.\
\
The central bank has said that companies that need less than $10,000 will have no need to take part in the dollar auctions. But that is not the reality, many business people say.\
