A South Korean trade mission is in Guatemala seeking to boost bilateral trade.
The companies are looking for business partners and buyers of machinery, construction materials and air conditioning units, among others, said Yangil Kim, commercial director of the Korean Trade Promotion Agency in Guatemala, Kotra.
Guatemala's exports to South Korea reached $206 million in the first five months of this year, 124 percent more than the same period in 2013, according to Kotra.
