Spain's Acciona seeks more Costa Rica business

Spanish renewable energy firm Acciona Energía is looking to ivenst in more projects in Costa Rica after the successful inauguration of its Chiripa wind farm in July this year, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

The Chiripa project is the company's first in Costa Rica and Central America.

Chief executive officer Rafael Mateo said the company is looking to invest in more projects, such as wind or solar, in Costa Rica as well as expand into other Central American markets due to their potential for renewable energy.
