Spain's FCC and Costa Rica's Meco in clash over big Panama contract

Rival construction companies FCC of Spain and Meco of Costa Rica are battling over a $300 million contract in Panama.

The problem lies in what is known as the Beach Corridor, where a government public works contract has sparked controversy over claims that bids were spurious.
