Spain's Prosegur emerges as leader in cash-in-transit business

Spain-based multinational security company Prosegur has hired the Colombian law firm Garrigues and EY Law  to acquire Grupo Almo’s security transport business in Central America.

Grupo Almo operates under the Proval and Transval brands, which have more than 250 armored vehicles and a staff of 2,000.

With this operation, which is subject to regulatory permission, Prosegur Cash expands its presence to 20 countries and increases its workforce to close to 60,000 people.
